guys,
whats the best sampler to take wav files and cut them up psytrancy styles?? 
im on a macbook pro, and i need recommendations of good samplers!

No matter the style, the best sampler by far imo is kontakt 3. have a look you can do all you want with it without the need for external processing in terms of edit or rex or pitch shift its an excellent all round and very much used... |

Maybe i am missing something then, granted i have never got to into it and barely touched the surface. what i found and why i haven't used it much is that i found i had to load the sample into battery 1st by right clicking and adding sample?
Is there a better way?

yea okay..batery and kontakt are fuckin good
what bout a simple sampler ? one to work lets say only with one sample ?
any ideia ? coz i think to use batery or kontakt to load just one sample ... overloaded..

If you wanna chop up a vocal to do your own glitches, simply do multiple copies of the zones with the same vocal phrase. Then you click on each zone and highlight the part of the vocal you want that key to trigger, for example one vowel on a key, then something else on another key, just small audio segments. Remember to disable key track so the sample does not track the keyboard in pitch and disable one shot phrase, so as soon as you let go of the key the sampler will follow the amp envelope settings.
Last thing to do before you save the sampler instrument, is to have a copy of each zone with the audio segment reversed.
Then you create your own midi file that suits your tune, without having to rely on the random glitches created by software like livecut, dBblueglitch...etc.
