Ambience is a really great free reverb-plugin.           To hell with reality! I want to die in music, not in reason or in prose. People don't deserve the restraint we show by not going into delirium in front of them. To hell with them! - Louis-Ferdinand Céline

Trueverb is my favourite, also like Rverb.

Also good are convolution reverbs IR1 and Pristinespace. IR1 comes with good IR files, for Pristinespace u need to get good.

I'd go for

1) Revibe
2) Lexiverb ( don't do HD version )
3) Dverb

Convolution I'd go for

1) Space Designer
2) IR1

For me the best reverbs are convolution reverbs like :

Altiverb (Mac)
Space Designer (Logic Pro 6 & up)
Waves IR1 (Mac & Pc) - never tried it, but it uses IR's so they prolly sound the same anyway...

SIR- Pc Freeware http://www.knufinke.de/sir/download.html
There is some latency with SIR, but it gives u a change to listen 2 convolution reverbs, and listen to it's beauty...

U can download IR's from the following sites :

The ClassicVerb from TC Powercore is one of the best I've heard sofar... Powercore is btw not a soundcard (many people seem to think this), it's what you would call a DSP-card or platform. It doesn't produce sound, but just runs plugins on the DSP's rather than on your computer.           To hell with reality! I want to die in music, not in reason or in prose.
