Onnomon makes great tunes in a unique style. Penta and Ocelot rock the party, too! Also MindWarped, Psychoid, Deeper in Zen, Init String and others I am still waiting to discover.

CHROMATONE!!! GREAT music, fat crisp production, great warm melodies with hard breakdowns, perfection in trance...his earlier stuff from 2002 smoked and currently his stuff is blowing up the dancefloors in SF. My prediction: This guy is going to get scooped up by someone big and soon will be rocking parties all over the globe! |

I find it interesting that a lot of the artists that people have down as there favorite U.S. project, are not even originally from this country- Yes these boys live here BUT...I would definately say penta is russian and biodegradable french...ya know? Maybe we should have a side post- who is your favorite american born artist...just a thought
(not that it all isn't great, but it would be interesting!) |

Hello All,
There are a lot of new talents comming in USA....Quadra for example is releasing two bombs on the compilation i was working on ( Absolute thereshold) and will be releasing a whole album hopefully on Solstice...Also Mind Modem,Psychoid, Penta, Mekanikka, Jirah.....

Yes. I totally agree. Can't wait for their new album thats coming out at the end of the year.
Funny I came across this cause I was just listening to Hydrophonics in my car on the way back from school. We got some excellent chillout here in the states.
Seems like it's been a couple of month since I heard anything really fresh come out of the States, anybody got some new recommendations?

best label in the world right now, imo.
btw, wasn't there a release of his own spectral recs coming up? i remember hearing something about it back in august... |

Howdy!
I've hand-selected all of the tracks for the next Spectral Concepts Compilation...it is to be titled NightTide. Contributions from Ocelot, Penta, Onnomon, Deeper in Zen and many more. I'll have a track on it as well called Karmageddon.
Also a new track coming up on Innersound (Inpsyde Media sublabel)....and an album is in the works for next year.
