hei guys i wanted to know how would you proceed if you would have to produce the sound kicking in at 0:46

find it very difficult to do such (seemly) complex automatisation. i hear some standard lfos in the sound but i wonder how the overall filter flow and the rythmic which seems to develop ot of that filter ??

could this be done with an arpeggiator?

would be very thankfull for some advice

ok. so those are FM leads.

as far as the filter goes, try a combination of filter envelope modulation with an LFO - make sure that LFO is set to mono, or simply disable the retrig option (depends on instrument), what you want is the filter to move along throughout the phrase instead of recycling with every note.

we've talked about Albino, right? so I know you happen to have that one on the arsenal. on the arp section there's a couple of options in there, one of them is the length, it affects the gate, making notes longer or shorter. it's not an automatable parameter per se (but could be if you're using Live and assign the max for live LFO to it).

anyway, so this is important, the filter envelope settings is also important. since you're using the High Pass filter imo, try to invert the polarity of the filter envelope (so that it opens) and play with attack and decay on the envelope. sample & glide is cool waveform for filter cuttoff mod on the matrix, but you need a slow lfo rate for that...

now, on the pattern itself, if you raise the velocity to max, it turns to TIE, something like "slide" or maximum gate on other instruments, anyways, play with the short and longer ones until you have a groovy pattern going, coupled with the filters and any mod you have going. now double that, change a few things and the pattern, and the trick is really to interlock different patterns together in a way that makes sense. render some longer ones with a slower filter movement to.

so, focus on the rythm first and on the notes later. it's almost like percussion, the patterns you're trying to make. like percussion, rendering to audio then reversing, time-stretching, washing with flanger, so forth and so on, can be used to create more variation and interest, as long as it's controlled and doesn't feel random - even glitch/stutter/whatever plug-ins. but high tech sort of demands you become proficient at synthesis and audio editting (coming to think of it, everything does XD). bitcrushing can give that metalic and sharp texture if used right to. good luck

not to mention one has to have a magical knob in the top right corner of the gear, to touch all the time and witch does pretty much everything you want it to do           In A Society That Has Abolished All Adventure The Only Adventure That Remains Is To Abolish Society
