Hello, I am abit unsure of my current placement of my monitors.
Right now i have too small table so my monitors are only about 80-90 cm from me, if i lean back abit i can hear the base get enhanced(could be the acoustics tho).
How big distance do you have ure monitors from where you sit?.
Should the monitors be against a wall or the opposite?, currently they point to a wall(where i have some acoustic treatment).

best position of monitors ? .. very simple .. - 6o-60-60 ° you are one on one of those triangle sides. There is no hokus pokus and only this is the right position. They should be as high as you ears.. This is it for stereo.
How long distance... it depends on what you wanna hear perfect.
Count the 1/4 lambda of the frequency you wanna get at her peak.
If you wanna hear low freqs at its fullest - lets take maybe 50 hertz than you should sit in lambda 1/4 to hear the positive wave pressure peak - if you want to hear its fullest energy. So by 50 Herzt you hear the Ideal position would be circa 1,7 meter.
Assuming that c is round about 340 m/s. That is not that important .. but the triangle (monitor positioning) is, as well as the hight and than get some absorbers. Sit not too near to the speakers.

yes. triangle, same size on all sides, equal distances. between the two speakers and you and the speakers, that's the sweet spot.
on height, my ears stand between the twitter and the woofer.
