I think that each one has his own unique style and quality of sound...and his best vst of fx plugs its little secret...,but i don't have aproblem with this...stuff
"
1 disco dsp (powerfull modulator)
2 moog vst (best vst known for me) perfect for bass lines ...leads...twisted fx's...scraches.....pads.......all what you want...
3 start with this plugs!!! learn it ...its not so easy to understand all modulation and filters connection ....so ...it will be good start for you...
about fx's use waves plugins only if you want to close up to minimal pro sound!!! Good luck bro!!! |

It's not true that the best stuff got always a price. Glitch is a "top" plugin totally free and isn't the only. Another different example: seems that Stillwell got an interesting strategy about their plugs. Talamasca and a lot of "top" artists are relasing tracks for free.
And the most remarkable changes in the business (the core of capitalism) are happening now in the software industry. I think that if you don't like capitalism you can support these little (even if some are big) revolutions. A lot of free stuff are out there, just try it and if you like it, use it and support it.
Now i go, i am scared to feed a troll! LOL

yes there are some good free ones out there. but if you are looking for some very good & professional sounding mixing tools (eq, compression) you go for dongle-secured plugins like uad, ssl duende, urs cs pro, flux, sonnox (they are cracked for pc vst i have seen). the free tools are offcourse promotion, take flux bitter sweet for example, its a transient mod its very good. but a transient mods is just the cream on top of the eq/comp-coffee
