Hi all!
Lately I succsseded to earn 2500 nis, and now I whant to spend it on some equipment for music creation! I have only my p800 and poor soundbaster PCI and i get around 70 latency in cubase! Why I telling you that ? because I reailly need advice from some expirienced people what I can buy on this money . . . (I will spend my money in musicshop in tel aviv if somebody know the place)!
I wanted to buy luna soundcard but the problem is what i need to buy some memory before i can do it .... also in what way it will help me in this stage, I making music only 1 year ??? maybe it is better to buy a midi keyboard and save some money for the luna ?

well i buyed luna 2 days ego, and what can i tell, this is monster, i cant think what pulsar is??? mama monster. ahhaha
luna is exlent card now with scope fusion platform, i dont like it so i instald luna 3.1 soft...
luna cost 2350...
you can get used midi keyboard in about 400 nis, check here: www.act.co.il
but you need at least 512 ram 
think very good befor what you buy, think what the beset for your needs

You can go for:
Oxygen Keyboard ~800 NIS
SB Audigy ~1000 NIS (i might be wrong)
And some extra memory with 700 NIS that you have spare.

I've seen Luna's Synths and wasn't really impressed.

With a soundcard with low latencies, you should REALLY get yourself a MIDI keyboard of some sort... Without a keyboard, music production is really hard and time wasting procedure.
I find Luna to be a great card for your external recording gear and latency issues.
You can use Lunas DSP fx to add some power to the music and lose power from the CPU.
As far as I know the card doesn't work well on VIA motherboards.
Think about other soundcards and don't jump to conclusions fast. think of what u need. I just need the latency and vvery low noise recording - that's why I have the Delta.
you can allways use ur SB midi interface and not be bothered by audio only soundcards.
Used soundcards are an option also - it's hard to brake a PCI card. You should check everything before you buy of course.
A used midi controller is an option also because u can find it in very low prices since ppl do want to sell them and buy synths...
