was the voting less than compared to the previous years? 26 votes and 18 votes and 5 votes does sound really really low...i must say i did not vote i was too lazy and could not make up my mind

Well not really true! There was a lot of various artists included. I have had 2 big sections to count and has counted in one section 72 differente votes and in the other section 55 differente votes! People are having differente and various tastes. But of course, that is good right. This is the main reason why this number of winning votes is so low. And of course; you guys here are important to vote for your best. It has happened that this years voting wasnt so good than few years back, but definetly better than last year. There are many of them out there as yourself Xolvexs who didnt vote. How to inspire them to vote i really dont know, but for beeing lazy - there is no excuse ( voting can take you only 5 minutes of your precious time ) think about it for next year
