Someone needs to put the Eventide Eclipse reverb algorithms on software. Although Lexicon did their PCM units in software, but it costs an arm and a leg.
Space Designer does the job for me though.

I found this Eventide impulse sets...

I use them on SIR reverb. Test them on sparse patterns, full wet, no dry.
More metallic and not as smooth as the real eventide.
But quite interesting!

There also this site with free impulse responses:

Yes, Audio Damage EOS is awesome!! :

On my tracks, usually I have a short verb + long verb as sends... and sometimes I use other reverbs as inserts. Only software plugs.

That, translated to hardware, means that I need to buy more than one reverb unit?
Does the same unit allow different simultaneous settings?

no they only have one set of inputs therefore (if you wanted to have for example a short and long sound) you'd have to use multiple units or process them separately.

this is why people are so hyped about the lexicon pcm bundle because it finally allows you to use as many instances of the high end lexicon reverbs as you want (and they are exactly the same as the hardware units)
