That depends on the bassline and the kick drum offcourse.
But i think that my mom has very nice handclap sound.
Very killer.

why using handclaps on psytrance ?!
IMO there is enough types of snares , drums and perc's that could do the work instead...
clap is....simply cheesy.

Actually handclaps make me wanna puke all over the floor. They totally ruin almost every track, at least for me. Perhaps you can deal with it if they are heavily filtered, ditorted or whatever. However in most cases they are simply disgusting! |

like nectarios put it : hand claps are the mama's of all those other distorted sounds.hand claps mix in well with any other kicks or snares, for me that iz.it iz a bit cheesy though ,now thAt sound has evolved.ehhee remember there iz always [+] ,[-] and then a [0]. its not that if u choose one you cannot have the other,who said you can't have both.

i love handclaps! I dont use them alot but its cool..
I think trance is a dance floor music and clap sure fit in well.(If use wisely). listen to biodegradable and say clap its cheesy!
