but you can do it with TAL noizemaker
http://kunz.corrupt.ch/?Products:VST_TAL-NoiseMaker
it already includes some nice and usable kicks and other percussion presets, that you can customize and learn from

i thought most psy trance artists flick the bottom of a yogurt pot to make a kick hahahahahahahahahahahaha

a 909 kick is more musical and sounds phatter!!!!!!! better low end and changes slightly with every hit to sound more ''real''.

Absolutely. Not so popular at the moment but it has been in the past, and I believe it still has a lot of potential if tweaked right. It's a great sound.

Hmm... 50/50. The distortion makes it hard to tell.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

I use ableton live and just pencil in midi clips.

Currently the synths I'm using are Tau Pro, AAS Ultra-Analog, Albino 3, and Reason.

I'm thinking of going for bazzism, as that seems to have some good sounds and 30 euro isn't that bad. I'm not specifically looking for psytrance kicks, rather looking for flexibility in kick sounds...

Also, I think I want to be able to tune the kick drum to the root note of my track...Is this possible with bazzism? do you think its necessary?
