The whole soundtrack actually by Vangelis is the best soundtrack ever produced by far.

Yup amazing soundtrack. I always is it in my techno dj sets at some point. This soundtrack was a massive influence on the Detroit techno sound which is why I love that style.

There are a ton of great electronic soundtracks, the forbidden planet soundtrack from 1956 was a milestone moment in the history of electronic music, blade runner not so much but indeed a good soundtrack.

Why is it funny? I chatted to for example Jeff Mills last year when he was touring & he confirmed the soundtrack was a huge influence on his music. As have many others. Yes there are plenty of early influences, I was just saying that this soundtrack also was an influence & continues to be for many involved in that style. But hey I guess for someone who's been dj'ing that style since the early 90's I probably have no idea huh ?

For something a little more contemporary I thought the Spawn movie soundtrack was good though a tad over orchestrated.
