Slipcock is not a satanic band and the drummer is talented for sure.. Even though they play GAY nu-metal, no offence intended.
I didn't ment that slipknot is a Satanic band they do suck with their metal music but what I ment is this solo is the best satanic show I've ever seen.
I never saw a drummer playing while he's upside down and rolling with his stage all over...And at the end you can see the "Pentagram" on his stage.
Freaking...I wish I was there to see it in my eyes...
I were automatic and as hollow as the "o" in god...

My favourites are already mentioned:
Jack DeJohnette and Billy Cobham.
I'd like to add Art Blakey and, of course, Elvin Jones.
Offtopic:
Gene Krupa smoked weed.
Finally someone mentioning Art Blakey.

well, like someone said before -it's all a matter of taste ! and you can't argue on taste.
anyway, here are my favourites ( no particular order )
Chris Maitland ( he was the first drummer of porcupine tree )
Gavin Harrison ( the current drummer of porcupine tree )
Magnus Ostrom ( he's the drummer in a Swedish jazz trio called - E.S.T )
their music is really beyond just jazz,
very unique sound
highly recommended !
check them out -
Terry bozzio
Virgil Donati
Mike portnoy
the list goes on.....
Love&light
cheers !
