Yes, shane gobi is indeed a good dj..

also dj kuma (mumbo jumbo), Kristian (chichime), Simo (Fairytales / Alchemy) & marchello (fairytales), Liquid Ross (liquid connective) & junya (eskimo /tip.world /phantasm), among many more...

but to say one is the best /better is wrong. All dj's have good & bad sets (and suited to different times/places)... however imo those mentioned above have the experience and talent/style to raise a party above the average!

yup.....finally......I'd agree with Mike there..... i've seen many 'outstanding' Dj's have a "Bad Day" or a dodgy mix...... it happens - and so technicalities are not really the issues here.... but a good DJ, imo must not loose touch with the 'dance floor'.... and I always really respect DJ's and artists who can be seen
'shaking their booty'
with the trancers & dancers...... and not taking some aloof position away from the crowds           ---------------------------------------------

I know I'm not the only one who thought that Pogo's set in leeds six weeks ago was the best set I'd heard in two years or more. It had everything you could want: depth, humour, twisted sounds rolling percussion. He is really on the case at the moment.
I agree with mike though. Another time, another dj. As the collection of music is so integral to a djs performance it does seem that people go through peaks of having incredible music. Think about Max etnica five years ago, mark allen four years ago, frank e three years ago, Dino Psaras two years ago, tristan last year.....There's always someone whose really on top of there game, often a couple. What then remains is for them to use their experience to get inside the mind of the crowd.
Go see Pogo if you can...no joke.
(at the next liquid connective?)

Definitely dj Junya. No doubt about           I don't know, but I've been told, if you keep on dancing you won't grow old.

hey zombie ,cass and diggersbrilliant,if u are into the uk prog u should check phill chichime,
twisted dark but at the same time subtle uplifting
deep psy is also a specialist in this uk prog sound and is also good,oh and greg lunar coyle from transient. lots of chichime and transient, not being biased though.

tim healy also rocks in this sound ,and new
boys piliavin and zimbardo from leeds
they are really dark and tribal
