As far as psytrance goes, I'd say Arjuna. Then again, I'm in the south florida and he's one of the few djs here who spins psy. |

Who here actually heard a lot of DJs from different regions of North America?? seems everyone is voting for their regional hero.. which makes sense, since the scene is so localized and there isn't much interaction between, say, Texas, Ohio, and Oregon. which makes the question kind of useless, in a way.
Having said that, the best US DJs I've heard are Waater from Seattle and Solomoon from Colorado.
  ..it's just another party.. |

i can only speak in depth about the east coast...
knob is probably the best skilled dj ive seen here. he mixes like a techno dj - not always my favorite styles but technique/music collection wise - a notch above the rest.
luis dreamcatcher is my 2nd favorite, very smooth - he has been doing it for years and works as a hiphop/salsa dj as a regular job.... he can mix anything...
sorry, but i saw kri twice or 3 times and i didnt enjoy him too much, skill or selection wise.
nik is on his way to become a good dj since he is pretty much alone in his genre, his technical skills are imporving rapidly as well.
shaikid - is a good dj, he has a particular style of mixing i havent seen much of nowadays.
what about euphoric female vocal trance dj's? - j/k
