I think you forget a big one Lemurians !!
There are so many in germany:
Four Carry Nuts;Xenomorph;Zerotonine are really goods producer !!

Nobody say somthing about ELEMENT...?
I mean, tstststs it was a coupel of yaers ago a killer Act and it will be now also one of the best German Artis!
But Germany, they have manymany cool and very good Artist and DJ's as well...

2 of Germany's best dj's and very underestimated are Sven Looping (Sticky Fingers/ex-Charasmatix) with his mindblowing full on nightsound....and also his old partner dj Aze, who's more of a morning funker....but a twisted one !!! Also his live-act with Karl (Charasmatix) is for me Germany's best live-act, together with Xenomorph with his twisted fucked up nightstyle...although he exagerates to much for me sometimes...but I'll never ever forget "Mulkoth Temple"...and the face that Celli/Earthling pulled when he heard me wipe his ass with it in Mexico....hahaha !!! What a storming tune !! Another one I don't see mentioned here is dj Shamane (Pinwheel/SST), ex resident of Germany's most famous club ever, Natraj Temple and also one of the few German full on dj's. In the old days Philipp and Mahasukha used to rock my balls to bits....but to be honest...nobody ever reached the level of Axel in his peak years between '94 and '98....after that for me all these 3 guys totally lost it in minimal boring tunes....with Philipp being best of 'em for me till 2 years ago...after that I never took the effort to go listen to any of 'em again.....I'm just not into the germany proggy style of playing at all..then better give me the Scando guys of Iboga and Spiral TX and labels like that....at least they got funk and sexdrive in it....the Germans in general only play "intellectual" tunes...apart from Tobias and Daniel (Plastic Park) who I respect highly for their experimental style...with lots of funny and humoristic and original influences....the only guys that get me going on proggy sets in Germany to be honest...although they tend a bit to much to disco/house for me nowadays....!!! Oh....and I forget Grandmaster Bim here....a man who's making a brilliant mix between both styles...adjusting very well to the audience everytime I see him....he's one of the few that really can make me enjoy proggy sounds a loooooooot and also blends it nicely with more full-on sounds.....Thank God for Germany waking up again and seeing that psytrance is not dead for a bit !!! Cya all on the killer Full-Moon Festival, Antaris Projekt and Voov....it's gonna be a blast for sure with both styles properly being represented...the way it should be...all together as one...not one better/more than the other....we all have different tastes after all and all should go home happy !!!!  |
