hi there,
after few months of hard work in the studio, we are again free for taking bookings.
we are aiming to promote our upcoming releases - Trancers guide to the galaxy vol II (Chaishop records), Prime cuts ( Beef records) SexStaatAmen (PlayOutRightNow recordings) and some past stuff releases in last cople of months like V/A Inception (Groove control/spliff), Tribal Vision... and material for our debut album & material for some other releases coming soon from us that we wanna keep a secret for now...
our fee would be very moderate - or better to say LOW cos its in our best interest to promote our upcoming music as much as we can..we also do a dj set + live in the same low price.

Biography
Davor Tosovic and Emir Cehaic are two extremely handsome guys from Zagreb, Croatia. They are coming with a massive musical background, Emir played banjo in highschool, while Davor took lessons in singing and harmonica. After their teachers told them they were competely hopeless and that they have no sense for music at all (scientists pointed out it was a consecuence of too much beef eating), and after they failed at the audition for the first Croatian boy-band, they decided to go for electronic music. And that's when Shuma was born. It turned out to be a good decision, since it gave them the chance to play all over Europe and brought them recognition from numerous djs. So far, they've released tracks on Hadshot Haheizar, Tribal Vision, Groove Control and Metamedia,but the rumour says that they had to sleep with the label managers to get those releases. Some of them even mentioned bribe.
At the moment, they are working on a new album in there studio, combining varoius styles of electronic music, from electro to .... electro.

Shuma live performance is really something special... Those who are planning to visit Taranis festival in the Czech Republic should definitely check out their live set....and for the others - just blame your local promoter that havent played nearby yet!

Come on guys, this topic is so exaggerated ok so "it's the best croatian electro progressive live act" and you cant find your own gigs and then you're give to ous a chance to book this amazing live act so come on let to the people decide if is good or not, this is not serious at all... overhype topic...

well fact is we are the best croatian elektro progressiev act - but you have to know one thing and always have it in mind whan you talk about artists from croatia- that our scene (trance related - electro - progressive related) DOES NOT really exist at all - we have NO partys at all -
NO big or small party promotors that can push you outside and inside of your country borders - NO labels at all - so its at least twice as hard for find bookings whan noone is pushing you as they do it in bigger contrys with nice scenes.but never the less - with all this problems we face every day - we play our live 99.9999% outside our contrys and we had a quiet a share of it -so we are quiet a proved on it. so i think this kind of gig looking stuff isn`t overhype topic.
fact is that we really work hard on new material last cople of months in our studio - turned out lot of gigs cos we coudn`t menage to concentrate on 10 things at the same moment - and i hope result will show in a cople of forthcoming months in the way of releases of tracks on labels around the globe. so its not matter of not wanting to play for the ppl its only matter that day doesn`t last for 48h and that life had lot of stuff beside music you have to make in the same time and its hard somethimes to do everything at the same time
so....i hope i cleared some of your doubts about us |

Well, apparently it is very easy to say something negative.
Just in case you ever heard a live set of Shuma you'd be a bit more respectful.
Emir is one of the main people behind the biggest trance open air Underwater Overground and his aim for helping to grow the scene is undisputed. He and Davor are making music since many years, and already prooved, that they have a great understanding for music and an adult taste for music.
This board here is made for promotion...if you don't like it: you are not forced to read the topics...

I heard a Shuma live set some weeks ago here in budapest and i must say they are outstanding! Especially that set was unique as it was flowing through many genres from electro to trance and tech-house or whatever:) |
