It's all about strong images! It's a shame to see how much bad design exists in the psytrance community (don't get me wrong- the artwork is great, i'm talking about the way it is transposed to print, ie graphic design). It's normal - there isn't enough money involved to pay professional graphic designers...
I am a professional graphic designer who loves psytrance, I do quality graphics for the love of creating, the second image from the left on this link is an example of a cd cover i've done in 1 evening:
