She's no good iyo or what? Just wondering =)

Btw. Is this http://www.discogs.com/release/36164 (Psychlopedia - Clockwork Orange) a vremix of the movie theme? hm, wonder how it sounds in a Goa tune? As I remember, Cygnus X's version worked quit well imo 8in the euro-trance way)

It's a waste of finger power to mention names psyfreaks got no clue about

Nonetheless I like to support Eric Prydz (he does not at all make progressive trance...it's progressive electro house).

His track "The Gift" and his new remix of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" are damn nice tracks.

There are so many amazing talented artists from Scandinavia who never get mentioned because of people's lack of knowledge about anything one mile outside the psytrance scene (and the usual top 10 artists who are way overexposed these days) and because of narrow taste among some members, just look at the artists they have repeated here over and over again leaving little room for anything else in their "top of the top" , or because some artists actually play much more abroad than in Scandinavia or don't mingle so much with the local mafia organizers which then oddly makes them "no names" in their own countries (a Scandinavian speciality probably caused by the famous Jantelov (Danish).

Isn't this supposed to be a psy/goa forum where one mentions psy/goa acts? ^^

Btw. Janteloven might be a Danish phenonomen, but it lives stronger in Norway.

Yes but the day the psytrance scene started to throw festivals and parties with so-called progressive "house" names was the day the scene and forums like these had to accept a bit more openmindness toward other music

The fun part is as much as it is considered "über cool" to say "I was at the alternative stage" at Festival X not that many people I have seen posting in this forum or met in the psy/goa scene got much of a clue what House music is. They think they do but really they don't. The psyprogressive names got very little to do with House. The BPM and over all "trance" direction is a good place to start as an example

Go to a small town in Jylland and stay there for a few weeks and then tell me if you still think that hehe

nahh kidding.. I think it's quite similar actually.. It's for sure a Danish "invention" but it's for sure also a Scandinavia phenomena. Not the best "invention" we have made

i gave a list of my favourite scandinavian ARTISTS not just psy/prog artists. i am very aware that eric prydz does not write psytrance. the topic title asks "best artist from scandinavia" not the best psy artist.

Hey Ray Zed

I think I am the one you should have quoted.. Because what you're writing, is exacly the point Johnnyboy is deffending. (kind of)^^
Eric still doen't release progressive trance, but the point is that you like him and he's from Scandinavia/Sweden, fair enough
