i have growed up with daft punk's da funk, and for that reason i don't even try to use a 303, you can try all you want you will never be able to get that same sound....

Sure, if you do not have the same distortion pedal it willbe difficult to clone exactly same sound, but definitly possible to get something as cool.
Your right on spot, 1st you need to buy yourself a 303 then you only need to find the same dist pedale...
hum... don't know if it's worth it, sounds expensive for just a sound i would only use once in 1 track.
Anyway again it's the best use of 303 i'v ever heard... seriously... it's just RAAAWWW, well you can't exactly hear it in the youtube clip cause the encoding is quite shitty... but it is...

nice I especially like the one from colin and fatboyslim.. Of course the one from daft punk is a true classic. I heard that one for the first time when I was in a clothes store in paris.. then It took me long to find it on cd..
Here's how I like to do it, I hope you don't mind I
after 1 minute - I have to admit... its midified.. otherwise I couldn't do lines like that...
My God, Colin, I have not heard this in ages, this is late 80ies stuff and I have always loved it. Could well be one of the few real reasons why I make music. Arpeggiator!!!
