I am going 2 b in berlin between these dates. was wondering if u have recommendations 4 trance parties over there, or even good clubs 4 electro/progressive tech-house

I'll be in Berlin around that time too.. also going to Summer jam festival in Köln.. leaving Berlin perhaps the 11th of july

For non goa stuff (house, electro, minimal techno) I would definately go check out:
Panoramabar
or
Bar25
Don't let the "bar" in the names confuse you, they ARE clubs, and damn good ones.
Both are not far from Ostbahnhof. Have fun! |

its a little bit outside of berlin...it provides alot of diffrent elektonik music. |

well,panorama bar certainly is a cool club, great music, great line-ups, but the Gay factor is very aggressive. I dont mind partying with gays who leave me alone, but at the Panorama bar they are very aggressive.
A friend of mine was taking a piss in a pissoir, then a guy came upnext to him, looked at him, tried to stick a finger in his asshole and said "Hey loverboy, wanna fuck?".
I know this is not representative, but still, these things happen there.

well, next time, he shouldn,t put down his whole trouser, while doing the piss...
anyway..everyone should get his own impression....i was never disturbed by them...and had some delicious musical experiences....

like i said, musically its top class, the whole atmosphere is also cool, especially the general decadent "fucked-upedness"of the place.
But be aware, there are lots of gays, and they are most definitely not shy!!
A friend of mine who also goes to Goaparties told me his trick for not getting hit on at Panorama BaR is to wear his shiva-goa clothes, that combined with his long hair all the gays think he's just some weird Goa-hippie and they leave him alone. If it works.....
