hey there ive been hired to spin at a bellydance party,
needing good suggestions for bellydancers,
like makyo, and stuff like that, some random trakcs on sky-dancing, etc......
any tips would be great, i have a couple weeks to go! |

I would suggest Mercan Dede & the secret tripe. Mercan dede is an artist from turkey. it has lots of mevlana sounds that are mixed into the chillout sound. its generally labeled the mix of east and west. try it, maybe its what your looking for.

Might be worth looking out for the Arabesque or Aribica comps - good fushion of arab + western sounds
Of course Natasha Atlas (ex Transglobal Underground) does a fair bit of belly dancing herself - but not usre how apt her tracks would be |
