For the first time in belgium ....

Broken Toy

Broken Toy is James Copeland, hailing from Cape Town, South Africa. He produces psytrance with a diverse style and a wide variety of moods for the dancefloor - from full-on to electro-funk, from deep and dreamy to tribal techno.

Musical influences are too many to mention - anything with groove and attitude, ranging from metal to electro-pop and gangster rap / hip hop. Previous musical experiences include being a guitarist and bass player in various metal bands during his angry teenage years, although this phase quickly gave way to a voracious appetite for electronic music, kick drums, and thundering big basslines!

His debut self-titled album 'Broken Toy' literally tore a hole in the psytrance scene with his cheeky basslines, ripping leadlines and tribal percussion, which has seen James tour all over the globe, throwing down his phat tunes. With a new follow up album in the pipeline Broken Toy is constantly unleashing his rawkus vibe onto unsuspecting dancefloors worldwide.

Digicult

DigiCult consists of Alpha (Davy Piessens) and DJ Nemesis (Bert De Decker). Alpha had been producing all kinds of music for a long time, with interests evolving throughout the years from techno to trip hop. By teaming up with DJ Nemesis, who had been familiar for a long time with all aspects of psychedelic music, they formed the perfect duo to bring you their own interpretation of contemporary trance. Since 2003, they’ve been given the time to grow under the wings of Belgian organisation Dacru (www.dacru.be).
Their style can be described as full-on morning with an oldskool touch, paving the way for a typical ‘Belgian’ vibe. Combining power bass lines with smooth melodies, their primary aim still is making you fly, at home or on the dancefloor ...

Morphix

The artist behind Morphix is Joff Snissaert, born in Brasschaat near Antwerp (Belgium). He started playing his Casio synth as a kid, at the age of 9. When he was 13, he met someone who introduced him to goa music, and at the age of 14 he found himself infected with a virus called psytrance.
He started dj'ing in his free time and when he didn’t go to school he was playing psytrance all day long. At 15 he got his first music program : Propellorhead's Reason 1.0 He started with an AMD Sempron 1.8 ghz making some loops and break's, but it wasn't exactly his thing..... After a while he got Steinberg's Nuendo 2.0 from a friend and he was amazed with the nice sounds that came out of the sequencers. As soon as he turned 18 he bought a newer pc: an Intel p4 3.0 ghz. When that monster was build, he bought a soundcard from m-audio , and Tannoy reveal montors to go with it. At the age of 19 he got himself a Motu 828 mk2 soundcard, a Virus INDIGO 2 and two nice looking HP monitors . And last but not least; at 20 he bought a Virus TI Polar. After a lot of work and time he created a style of his own: it’s not dark, it’s not melodic, it’s not fast, neither slow... it’s powerfull but not too powerfull. Find out for yourself as he now rocks the dancefloor with hard pounding kicks, wicked basslines and crazy darkish tunes...
