my recommandation for all of you that have money:
DynAudio acoustics
just the best in my opinion, have passive and active models altough very very expansive.
i heard them and just couldn't beleive it.
if not dynaudio go only for mackie or genelec. |

I am with you Moxik just that the price range of those is 10000 and up ( doesn't it )
One more thing - I don't really like the Mackie sound is way too digital cold... I heard it in a really good studio ( professional one ) and found out ( and thats really matter of taste ) that I don't like this kind of sound.
About the price range of 4,500 to 5,500 NIS I would still advise ppl go for Event - I don't think they are beatable at these prices even tho their low mid is a bit crappy, that can b fixed by adjusting the ear.

Yuli, I'm with you here.
the P6 (~4.5k) and P8 (~6k) sounds quite nice to my ears. some people say they sound TOO nice,as if they were not flat enough, and claim they fit more 2 b hifi speakers than monitors.
as i said b4 - i think not that way, and if you climb a little bit in budget, for 7.5k you can buy the 20/20 BUS which have a very very good TRUE sound, and still don't cost you above 10k..
bom.

I agree,
And also want to mention a big surprise for me that 20/20 bus version cost 7.5k - I have 20/20 p version ( one amp for both monitors ) and it cost me 3 years ago some 5.5 k. Weird enough that after so much time the price doesn't go down but up.. but hey
