One of my monitors is sounding really dead, as if the amp. has blown inside. The limit (red) light flashes whenever i try to turn it on.
Has anyone experienced this before ???

I had something like this with these monitors, the fuse is probably blown, you should check it |

This is a common broblem : you can't amp up the volume too much high.
once you want to hear in more volume then you should not do it with the behringer.
work in a lower scale of volume amigo

I happened to hear these speakers in some places and yep, I tend to agree with C3PO their sound is a little crappy, there are better monitors in this price range...
Anyway I will use this opportunity to spill some trash on most of Behringer products which are usually cheap copies of products of rival ( and better ) companies such as ( asmost everyone actually ) Mackie ( mixers & Monitors ), Genelec ( Monitors ) and so on.

Tannoy Reveal are good monitors imo tho ( and it's matter of taste ) they sound too punchy for me. That is btw why they are quite a good choice for trance making - few high caliber artists use/used those ( Future Prophecy, Cosma ) I would prefer the Active model tho.

tannoy can be bought in santronics - its behind auto depo in ramat gun.
they updated the prices but after some burgening i think you can achieve:
reveal passive(the red ones) - ~2000 nis
reveal active(the blue ones)- ~4500 nis
p.s I checked them and didn't like how they respond to low frequencies.
I know I'm in the minority here - but for this price scale I would even prefer the P6 of event.(p8 sounds better but costs 6000).
bom.
