Personally I have this old ass 6 channel mixer from Oshino.... Never failed :\ The only knob wich makes noise after all this years, is the crossfade (wich I can buy another one cheap, even from other companys, if i want to).
And its a crapy mixer i tell you... Yet it works fine for what I want. |

well it does sound crap and it does have technical problems. and yes it generaly sucks. but it all depends on what u want to do with it.
if its to teach your self how to mix its good enough. as long as u keep it at home.......
if u gonna play with at parties and other places i suggest u save up and but a pionner or vestax or numark....
if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...

I guess there okay if you absolutly can't afford a MACKIE or some thing serious with some CLEAN HEAD ROOM ,This is the problem with of grade equipment .You never really get to test it out at the store.and when you get home 1 of 2 things happen. You are happy because you have new gear,And your ears get used to that sound and you never know the difference.
Or you are unhappy with your purchase and eventually buy some thing different ,So your Money was wasted on cheap gear the works but it just don't sound PROFFESIONAL At all
Train your ears before you go off buying gear that you will regret buying later |

i run my behringer on jbl monitors.
don't have experience on monitors but heard they have very good (with good i mean reproducing the cd or whatever exactly the way it is witout changing the sound) ssound reproduction.
the bad sound may depend also from what is after the mixer
anyway i agree sirius taurus and parapsyched but most of us can't afford vestax or pioneer so it's about compromises |

I bought my VMX300 for learning how to mix...in that time (only 6 months ago) i surely wont spent more money in pro mixer
I have trusted behringer, even after reading bad reviews..I gave they a chance
and what I got ? a noise generator after 6 months ! this sucks !!! for home djing and to learn it is good thought...the kill taps are nice, and some others features as said above but for gigs and parties its crap and the durability of it is something so terrible that makes me wanna cry !
oh and I (so stupid) just give behringer a second chance and go out and buy a headphone ( hpx4000) after 3 months I have to throw it in the garbage...it was broke.
conclusion..I will never buy any other thing from this brand...not even a pencil..or a bubble gun.. LOL
peace out
