well...its got more channels...i havnt seen it or heard it...so i cant tell...but it is more expensive then the yamaha one...and its hard for me to see how you
are going to mix a proper trance mix on a 3 band
eq, 14 channel mixer...
so if you use the mixer for speaker level control,
and a few mic preaps for recording...
i say go for the cheaper one  |

Well,i thought to use mixer to mix together my pc,electric guitar with marshal amp,dynamic mic for vocals and condenser mic for few acoustic instruments(for that it would be best to use far better mixer).I mean,every electronic sound i use is coming from software and its already processed,
but definitly yamaha is better choice.

well...you dont nead more then one mic
input for recording vocals, and usualy 1 or 2 for the guitar
...you dont nead to mix your pc together with the guitar in the mixer...
record the guitar with the dynamic mic with your marshal amp to your sequencer...
then process it in your sequencer together with the electronic stuff with much more possibilities... |

You mean not to use line out on amp and to conect it on mixer(i meant to use hardware guitar fx processor instead of softfare processing)?I think it will sound better if the sound from amp goes directly to mixer and than to soundcard.
I'm learning now about hardware.Before that i used only software,so any advice is good. |
