it's curious..... why so many people who used to listen to metal like trance? i've got friends that enjoy metal and can't make them like electronic music, but when they listen to trance, they enjoy enjoy it....
and not only guitar tracks...
why is that

well i guess there is some connection between rockers and ravers...........even a lots of artists came from the rock background

rock, ska, metal and hip hop until i was 12/13.
then I started listening to electronic music under influence of my father. he introduced me to prodigy.
i was too young to understand the value of his dub and acid/funk house collection.
now i listen to dnb, house, chill, ethno-electro, psytrance, dub and sooooooooooooo on.
music has no limits.
if you limit yourself to one style, that means that you are shallow
