I believe that the DJ is a guide for the people dancing. The beacon of light for all the people on the floor. That's why for me, the party had 3 parts.

The dancefloor was not only sand/ground, but was hard (about 3/4 of the ground was asphalt), which I really don't like, the people around were a bit younger than the average at trance parties (which is nice to see, but just wierd :)), and it was more of a club crowd than the usual trance party crowd (which was nice). There was also this blond guy with blue pants which danced between everyone and was in front of the stage which was really cool :).... overall, pretty good faces in average.

By the time I got to into the party it was around 2:30AM, and I don't know what was going on there, but there was no sub bass in the system, there was no energy in the party, and there was a boring stereotypical german trance set (which really was insulting to the crowd, if you ask me). By 4AM, I was thinking to myself "the next 20 minutes will decide if I leave now, or start considering that thought in 4-5 hours, and then see".

Domestic and Pixel got up at 4:05AM, and in 10 minutes, the whole vibe changed. Someone figured out the problem with the sound, the music was GREAT, and they read the party like an open book, giving us exactly what we needed, including a very intelligent transfer to morning music, and ending up with a really wicked groove in the last 30 minutes.

Like most of the Israeli DJs, they enjoy long breaks and kicking it in at full-on power too much (too much rest for the brain!!!), but the music was just great.

After that set, the music changed again, still nice at times, too nitzchoni at times, but overall, it was pretty nice until 8:30, when I had to leave.

Other than Pixel&Domestic, I really didn't think the party was all that, but they really gave me a great feeling for the whole thing.

Will I go to the next BeePro party... I don't know. Will I see Pixel&Domestic again?

Hell yes.

Well, i was there too... and i'm sorry to say but in my opinion the crowd was really strange, a mix of kids, arsim, frechot, clubbers, weird faces on E's and party ppl.. but let's put that aside and talk about what's really important- the music.
i got there at about 3:30, the dj (the b-pro resident i think) played hard trance, some was nice, the rest wasn't so good. (and i'm sorry to say but the guy really don't know how to mix). then after him came up pixel and ido ophir, gave a very good set (in my opinion), dark trance, some of their own tracks and other progressive good trance. near the end of their set they changed their style a bit, to morning music which was nice, but i liked the night part more :). those guys really know how to mix! they built the set very good with perfect mixing.
after them i think it was XP that came up, really weird music, something between nitzchonot and slow psy, it was weird and i didn't really like it.

to sum things up- not a very good party, but the pixel & domestic set made it worth it, and like asaf said- i'll think twice before going to another b-pro party, but i'll definitly go and see pixel and domestic again... :)

well, i got there pretty early, so i also cought guy's set. you guys are missing on a true mixing phenom. a groovy set given by guyshanti, which included some of his own music (Things Controversial for one, which i enjoyed listening to), and than came on this blonde guy (dunno who he was). this guy gave an amazing night set, (there was sub bass on the speakers, and it was more minimal than german tech trance). his finishing track was incredible. however, pixel and domestic bored. im sorry. it was just too long a breaks or too long the same loop over and over again. the night set they gave was OK, not too briliant but not too boring, but on the sunrize, sorry guys, u blew it. Pixel and domestic are very good together on the mixing part, but as to their musical choices, i would rather have been in a house party. im sorry, once more, cause they really gave a good night set, but the sunrize part sucked, big time. i had some friends with me who were in manali and goa in 92-95 and they almost fell asleep in the sunrize.

organization was Ok, part from the checks in the entrence which took Way too long, thus causing a que and having an empty dance floor at 3:00am... (relatively empty). one beef i have with Beepro. u took so much money on the tickets (EVEN on presale, 80 shekels is a tad expensive.). the least you could have done is have the first drink of the night for free. i mean, come one, guys. u don't really expect ppl to pay 25 shekels for red-bull vodka, now do you? way too expansive on the bar part (No coke, either, just beer water and redbull-vodka). also, the munchies stand, with hot dogs and shit - also pretty expensive. all in all, Beepro did a good job in the decoration (lacked a few mushrooms in the background ;-) ) and the place looked amazing after we puffed some keine outside, which than happened the most weirdest shit -

some guy was breaking into other ppl's cars stealing their Radio-CD's. while we were outside puffing some, all of a sudden a white honda accord (the old one's who look like a cardboard box) zoomed out of the place with security running after it. later on we learned of what happened - some guy cought him in action so he took his tail and ran! it was weird...

all in all, im pretty happy with the party. it was fun, but some parts of it were weird. the shimons did their best in keeping a low profile, but the funniest part was looking at all the adults that were there (and im talking at least 40 y/o guys dancing their arsses off).
keep the flames burning you guys..

I'm sorry, maybe it's just me, but Ant-man's selection of music was just... well, the farthest thing from deep I could imagine.

that's just my opinion, but it wasn't mine alone, because if you'd see the dancefloor before and after Domestic&Pixel, you'd know which one made the people move.... and before 4am, the party looked DEAD.

i have nothing against him , the oposit side is right he is my friend.
Antman is a beginer dj ok ?
this is a peofesional opinion of me and the other D.j's that been there so it couldnt be that the floor is curved itrs the player who is bad.
he need to pravtise more finalt he will know to mix good i know that he is talented but meanwhile it is just not too good for playing 2:00 - 4:00.

But that's a question for the organizers... 2 to 4 am is the middle of the night... is that REALLY the time to put someone who isn't going to bash the audience's brain in? :)

2 to 4 am is not a time to experiment, it's a time to dance wildly... and he just didn't do it for me. I don't like that style of music (I'm not talking about technique at all here!!!), and that's what made me not get into the party, not his mixing.

It is before everything else a matter of taste though, and mine isn't the average taste in trance here, and I fully accept that.

and to Ant-man: good luck in the future, and stop with that german music :)

I agree with asaf here, the tracks selection of ant-man was poor, you don't need to b an old dj to have good taste... i think he has different taste in music and he doesn't really know how to build a set (imo at least).
practice isn't for 2:00-4:00 AM, that is supposed to b the part in the party that you get hypnotized, dance like crazy and feel the full power of the night.

Anyway- good luck Ant-man
