I've been saying this for years. Paid digital downloads are not going to take off until they are cheaper than physical media. There's really no reason it should be any other way.

Just don't buy WAV files, they are way too expensive. i think psytrance is the only genre that hasn't gone mostly digital and probably the only genre where WAV files are so hyped up that 320 mp3s are regarded as too low quality for DJs. people really have to realize that it's just a bunch of hype by record labels trying to sell CDs, and that 90% of the users here would not be able to tell the difference even if they knew they were being tested.
granted, it feels good to know you're playing a lossless file, but is it really worth it to pay an extra $1 per track for something you'll only play for a couple of months max?

You are presuming that people will buy CDs for just one or two tracks. I know I don't.

Even a better reason to 'why the f**k they charge such high prices, even if it is VAW'? Is it that expencive to buy the rights to sell the tracks, the server storage, the URL fee, not enough buyers in general? If yes I suggest you give us all a break and lower the prices and expect the sales to cover the costs of running the shop over time, have some faith in your own businiss plan and stop robbing people for obviously greedy reasons. If I speak uninformed please educate me to of why 3 USD for 1 single track is nessesary .. in my mind it just doesnt add up when you have no plastic and paper in the costchain.-

well, at least they gave me the refund for all of the tracks i bought.
Now i just need to search for the cds of the tracks =P

Me neither. Have been buying my music off my favorite labels' sites for some time. And if I don't find it there I buy at Beatport, but 320Kbps Mp3's
