Beatless Psy-Ambient Reccomendations?

beatless ambient is a very strange subgenre because there's such a fine line between good and "not good"... In fact, it's extremely difficult to make "bad" beatless ambient. So it kind of changes some of the rules I think.
Most of the time beatless psyambient has a very fluid texture - and very rarely does it go into territories like "harsh" or "abrasive" or "mechanical."
So to give some examples of this kind of ambient, you might try
coil - music to play in the dark
black lung - Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars
or black lung - the disinformation plague
squaremeter - parsec
