Hey there..
Does anybody know where to find the Beatbox-Samples used by different artists (e.g. Sesto Sento, and I believe Astrix has used them as well as many other artists..)?

repeat after me:
"Pick up a cup of tea"
now say that without the vowels...
and guess what - you have a 6/8 rhythm!!

the best thing you can do is go to a hiphop forum. Talk to some people and find someone who is already able to do it and lives near you (though the basics are easy for anyone). Like that you have much more control over the result too |

hehe.. not to show off... but i can actually do some Rahzel stuff...
If your mother only knew, the 4 elements (apart from the stuff done with the DJ too)
Also some Killa Kella stuff - intro to DJ louis Slipperz 10 pound bag hehe
Still.. I'm not at all as good as i used to be anymore... (after I realised I hate hip-hop lol )

nice man, why don't you use that in your music ? all skills are welcome if you use them well (would make some original one bar breaks)... just my humble opinion |

@Fregle; yes, indeed I did.. =)
On "Kim" (Track 4) on the Album "Mystical Encounter".
I was just looking for some really professional "mouthwork", I guess I'll just go for Rahzel..

pop-shield: well, you know which problem that solves...
air: good soundproofed room (if you don't have it wrap yourself into the doughn blanket of your bed (did i write that correctly?)), put a noise gate on it (the air usually stays below a threshold of -25db or -30db) if necessary... Those mufflers they use on tv for example are agains air too... |

Here's a good way to make a nice pop shield
Buy a (or steal your girlfriend's) pair of tights... get an old wire hanger - bend it into a rounder shape. Then take one tight and slip it over the hanger so the hanger hook is on the opposite side to the closed end of the tight...
Cut the tight off below where the hook is, and then make two slits in the tight opposite eachother... you'll now have two ends.. use these and tie them together around the hook...
and voila, you have a cheap pop-shield
