So the story goes like this:
I show up to play a set at this Halloween party in Toronto, organizer who I talked was called Kevin Stargazer (facebook contact). While I am playing my set, right in the middle he comes with a mic and wants to shut down my music and announce the best costume winner. So I turn off the music, pack up and get the hell out of there, 'cause it's ridiculous.
Now when I am out on the street next to the venue, the dude comes out and assaults, beats me up, got a bunch of bruises and black eye now. What the hell? What do you think? |

But the beating has nothing to do with djing, what you could have done is to set a loop turn the music down instead of packing your stuff and leave the organizer without a dj. Ridiculous or not, he hired you to do a job and if you had a contract he could actually sue you for what you did. Anyways, I understand if he was pissed but that doesn't justify the beating.

well, first of all his attitude was "I can do whatever the fuck I want", I wasn't paid, there was no contract, I won't tolerate being treated like shit, my set is a story, I can't interrupt it by some shit that he didn't do when he told me he was going to do.
plus he put MJ's Thriller in the background for the announcement lol |
