wow
really confusing battle...
few points i got from:
- menog decided by himself that 2000 copies were sold.
- i didn't got the thing with the 5 tracks, if they really don't like why should they release?
- starsound wasn't in schedule for the payment of the sold copies.
- 2 monthes for an album sounds to quick for me, menog just rated down his name (for me at least), also he said that his album nothing compared to his new tunes - which lower this album.
- isratrance is a great weapon for those kind of argues.

2 months recording it in aveiro at RMSTUDIO..6 months doing it ON MY STUDIO.is that clear PROSECT???

like i post before jonh called me a few hours ago and now he whant´s to do this.

i will just get what belongs to me, fairlly.

If I was you menog I would consider chilling a bit... There'as no need to attack people this way. You seem a bit out of control the way you use BIG CAPS !
I don't know the whole story and i wont point fingers at anyone but according to Detox you recieved 1500 Euro in advance. I see no reason not to believe him. I also do believe that Detox tell the truth when he say that you only sold 600 copies. Due to the sales situation caused by internet downloading/swopping and Wirakuta's unfortinently lack of enough sales and distribution abilities! So how can you expect to get any royalties before the label have re-cooped their advance?
Of course you should have recieved a statement no matter if it's balance is negative or positive!
There are many many sides to the stories in the music business. Believe me I have heard and seen it all ! |

Could it be that the online shops did not buy many copies to begin with? If they only bought let's say 50 CD's each then I am sure that's why "noone" can buy your CD at the online shops anymore. Most online shops do not buy more than one small stock of an artist unless that artist is extremely well-known and popular!
Of course I am only guessing here but think about it. It's always a good thing to have actual valid prove before you start to blaim people for serious neglection and breach of contracts! |

Is it appropriate to try and sort these issues out on a public forum? Hmmm i think yes as a last resort. If the guys who done you wrong will never answer your emails and never return your calls, what else can you do? Who can afford a lawyer? Not many artists i would think. I have never been wronged by labels in my short history as artist but if i ever do i probably wouldnt hesitate to come on here and express my distress, as long as other possible avenues have been explored. Also, i think my left remote is onto nobodies heater sometimes but cover the deferens.

Firstly, Shahar I think I found a job for u - u can b a soap opera producer.. u do it very well..
Secondly I believe that what happened here is really nice, since first time ever Isratrance allowed a dispute to be brought ( as a last attempt to solve ) to it's forum, kept it fair and in the end it seems to come to an agreement!! I think this is very very good, because this is the strength of this site, and it is possible to use it's strength to the positive side without abusing it.
