This Thursday July 20th, we are filming a scene for our current project titled The Price of a Dream, and need approx 50 extras for rave scene.
Dress: "ravish" psuchedelic clothing as authentic as possible
Location: Kaufman film studios in Astoria
Time: approx: 4 to 7 pm

Symopsis:
Vicky is a Southern girl from a small town in North Carolina who, like many before her, has moved to New York City to follow her dreams. As a little girl, Vicky was fascinated by the world of dance, and she dreamed of someday becoming a dancer. Before she can begin to realize her childhood ambitions, she finds herself trapped the nightmare of an abusive relationship and an underground world of drugs and cruelty centered around the day-glo clubs and lofts of the rave scene. Drugs become her protection against the assault of her dangerously pervasive depression, but she also discovers that writing can help her escape the real world. At her computer, she creates a fantasy world, where everything can somehow be just right.
In her story-world, Jana is her alter-ego -- the girl possessed of the life she envisioned for herself. Her abusive boyfriend Taylor is portrayed as the perfect-guy Travis. But the border between her own reality and the one she has scripted begins to slide away from her. As her mental illness progresses and her real-life relationship worsens, her relationship with Jana begins to change. As the ability to distinguish between reality and fiction escapes her, her story begins to lose its form and slip out of her meticulous control. She begins to resent her heroine’s perfect life. Her fantasy world disintegrates into misery as her own life begins to head recklessly for danger until Jana is murdered.
