I got my bcr 2000 controller today and i'm trying to get it work now. vanguard works fine, using learn mode of the controller and "link to controller" with autodetect enabled in flstudio.
hydra works well too except for the cutoff, controller finds it, but autodetect of "link to controller" in flstudio doesn't recognize it, which means i can make changes in the vsti and the controller led changes, but using the controller knob doesn't effect the vsti.
next problem, any other vsti's don't work, e.g. albino, or freeware stuff like synth1, crystal etc.. effect vst's don't work either.
these are the settings which work for vanguard and hydra:
options -> midisettings -> output port mapping -> bcr2000 = port 10
options -> midisettings -> remote control input -> bcr 2000
options -> midisettings -> remote control input -> controller type generic
auto accept controller: enabled
options -> enable midi remote control -> enabled
options -> enable midi output -> enabled
in the vsti synths:
midi in port: 10
midi out port: 10
what's wrong about the other vst's, vsti's and the cut off in hydra ? |

Is it just a controller, not a synth?
If yes u can try this:
options -> enable midi remote control -> enabled
options -> enable midi output -> disabled
options -> midisettings -> output port mapping -> 'ur controller' + port = '---'
vsti midi port = '---'
And with some vsts the autolink doesn't work, eg discovery, there u can use the browser -> generators -> the one u use -> the parameter u want to automate
Hope it works

Great, it works !
haven't change the midi settings but
browser -> generators -> the vsti used -> link to parameter -> turning the controller knob works perfectly well for all my plugins.
you can do it even a bit faster, although it may look like more work, by doing this:
the vsti used -> pluginoptions -> browse parameter -> right mouse click on the one you want to controll -> link to controller -> turning the controller knob
now I just have to figure out how to save the controller mapping for each plugin in some kind of preset so I don't have to do this every time I add an instance of a plugin. the controller does support presets, but I don't know how to do it on the software side in flstudio.
