Something regarding the Behringer BCR-2000 MIDI-controller is bugging me for the moment. The problem isn't the controller itself but its implementation in Cubase SX.

Where do I set up Cubase so that it sends MIDI out to the controller?

Example:
I turn a knob on the controller, wich sends the value to Cubase and the knob on the active vst-plugin is turned.
So it works one way. Not the other way.

Turning a knob in a vst-plugin does NOT give the controller the new value.

My idea about the problem is that I have to set up a device wich corresponds to the MIDI-controller so that Cubase knows that it should route the midi signal, from sequencer -> vst-plugin -> midi-controller.

So now, how do I get this to work?
I have tried to set up a Generic Remote Device without luck.

All ideas would be appriciated.

It's all about the Generic Remote Device... check the flags in the controller set-up part of the Generic Remote; the far right column has flags for receive, transmit and relative. With the BCR-2000, I think all those flags have to be ticked for it to work properly.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
