Hello everyone
I have a little question: I use battery in Cubase, and i want to use different FX on different samples. The only way i know how to do it is by creating another battery instrument in the VST instruments panel and assigning the desired FX to it. This procedure is quite annoying and furthermore, using more than a bit CPU.
Is there a way to assign different samples to different audio or midi channels in the same battery instrument? (Not in Cubase i can use up to 8 stereo channels at the same time, but in Cubase i don't see a way to use this option).
Thanks in advance Tom |

every VSTi has number of audio chans, in Battery u even can control this number[there's some button].look in the main mixer - u have many Battery channels. in the right-bottom corner u have the output. change it to the samples u need.

Dunno, maybe your computer is overloaded? Or maybe there's an audio driver problem (too low latency which causes clicks)? Dunno...

well i got this problem on my soundcard on my machine but its an awe64, which has quite a bit of background noise i use another machnine for recording external instruments, so it aint a real problem but my awe64 generates not on;ly background hiss, but all these irritating blips and bleeps when waves are recording or playing back on it it disappears, so i guess its the waveplayback.recording part of the soundcard that does it and other sounds appear when i have other parts of the soundcard activated through the soundcard software's mixer like line in, mic in, cd player. etc
maybe this is something similar on your soundcard too? try switching off unnecessary parts of it in its own mixer softwaree
it might just help |
