Battery alternative?

Hello. I am looking for a light drummachine to replace my battery vst. The reason is i find battery to be too much, takes too much to load and it is a little more than i need, also i've found that when rendered to WAV percussions will not come exactly on time but with some ms delay that really pisses me off.
Basically what i need is a midi triggered sampler which allows me certain control over the perc sample such as pitch fix, filter, etc. Just like the Drumrack in Live but im a Cubase user i don't need all the fancy battery utilities like groove control or modulation matrix.

A lot of people has agreed that it is a very decent sampler. Just need to have a few questions aswered about it and Ill buy it.

yea directwave s really nice...i tried directwave , guru and battery when i left reason .. i wanted to find a VST just like DRUM MACHINE from reason ... coz it rocked....
but to be sincerilly battery was the best lol...
hey MEDEA ... this arachnd has separete filter for each channel ?

Get Battery 2, the previous version. It isn't overloaded but you still get good tweaking possibilities.

i very much doubt that battery is producing off time.
and guru for sure is not exact when it comes to timing. |

is there a way to get only the samples library of battery or anything like that?
i just bought DirectWave and now im lacking the hithats/snares/perc samples since I have a huge collection of kicks but too few percussion and other stuff...
