hey!
i've a question about bassline freq..
i have this bassline that is very continuos and uses alot low freq.. it goes +/- in a range of 40hz-500hz.. and it has a little cut on the 60hz..
my question is can this bass cause physical damage? it may sound stupid, but maybe it isnt that much lolololl
i dont wanna risk making anyone feel bad...
take care! |

most of baselines are between 40hz to 650hz.
I dont think your monitors can produce frequencies that hurt..

billy, monitors can produce frequencies that hurt, the wrong tweaks can even lead to permanent hearing loss. of course, not common, but can happen...
loll, fluor, i don't think that your baseline can harm ppl though, but its nice from u to be concerned hehe! fica benne

hehe it depends how loud it is! And how clean is the signal!
I think higher frequencies hurt more than lower frequecies.... the tiny structures in your ear are more sensitive and delicate at higher frequencies.

the frequency wich the human ear hears
acording to the monsun fletcher elc,
the best with the least db boost is 4khz,
(around the 10 db boost for human hearing)
1khz will be around 15 db, while 20
for example neads to be boosted around
80 db.
if your worried about causing damage to
people with your bassline, ass long as
you dont blast people with 200 db around
7-17 khz, you have nothing to worry about. |
