Something to remember about basslines:
What you program is not always what you get. Speakers are physical, and they operate in full cycles. Really low bass is not well defined because even though your bass signal may have stopped, the speaker may still be moving.
Really low, really fast bass also needs to account for the fact that the speaker needs to find the start of the bass phase and do a full cycle. If your bass is too low, you can't even get the big speakers moving fast enough before you're telling it to stop. |
