Hi Surrender,
I've done various things to try and resolve "not-quite-right" basslines in the past. However, without knowing your full situation, it's difficult to know exactly which answer suits you. But I'd try one of the following:
1.) use the "Delay" function (right above the volume control on the left panel) to push back your bassline a few milliseconds... keep subtracting 5 ms at a time till it sounds close and then fine tune. Of course this affects when the notes start as well so if you're sure you don't want that to change, don't do this.
2.) Maybe too obvious, but.... use an envelope and set your sustain to 0, or at least significantly less than 10.
3.) if your notes are sixteenth notes, set quantization to 64th note and make notes that are three 64th notes long.
In other words, there are lots of ways to do what you are asking, the question is which one sounds best to you, and whichh one do you use in a particular situation.
Happy tweaking! |
