i try to write bassline like astrix,protocultureor silent sphere (u know the famous style)but i cant!!!!

In all your examples I didnt see even one time that u use bass on 1, 2, 3, 4 count i.e with the kick together - are u aware of the fact that u basically loose at least quarter of your groove possibilities?

and i thought its about notes not just quantize
i like also in 80% not to involve bass with kick so i can make them both fatter.. tho if yuli says i try it more  no fatness probs there.. 
k well here is stupid clone trick to get astrix bass (or any other in that full on formulated..)

try use a2 and g3
ohh yes.. to the end u can make the basic note (what was a2) to g2 ,and stick to octaves and change them evry 16/32/64... so u get:
-g2g3g2-g2g3g2-g2g3g2-g2g3g2-a2a3a2a3-a2a3a2a3-a2a3a2a3-a2a3a2a3
very not creative but sound very trancy.. and mostly used with vb1 "synth bass" preset with some lp filter+hp filter
to get my simple basic prog groove i can use this

--b----b--b--b-b
lets do it again with some melodic aspect (that can only open later in the track)
now there is also my favorite suomi groove but its very changing with notes and it works like this:
(ba is long bass)
kbabkbbbkbabkbbb
here the melodic side plays much more critical role.. i like to open arp. on that or to draw one.. depend on the synth option with arpeggios.
it can also work for infected kind of bass (with no arpeggio! but still melodic..) but then notes go shorter (and reduce the 6/16 note can also help for that)
but its like to hear a song and wanna learn play it on guitar.. listen.. try.. listen.. try.. its there..
and basic trance pattern:
kbbbkbbbkbbbkbbb
bass can also added on the kick..
play with velocity of bass notes to get your instant groove.
now i want to see someone make original bassline !
(i can sugest "haltya" as special non formulated bass that no one can write in words how to do it here? )

i think 3 of the most important thigns for getting a good groove in a bassline is
1. velocity connected to filter opejing/volume of notes
2. different note lengths
3. glide/slide/portamento
if you listen to astrix or whoever, even if you copy what notes they use exactly with the exact same synth/processing all that, but you just use for example 16th notes on 100% velocity, it might sound nothing like it because it doesn't have the right "articulation" so to speak.
here's a bassline that would for example sound completely different if it was just the notes, without all the little extras to give it groove.

oh another thing i forgot to mention, triplets reminded me, adding a bit of swing to the bassline can increase it's "grooviness" dramtically, on a lot of my tracks around the 140-142 mark i give about 25% swing to everything, including the bassline. |

a good trick is, when you have some sort of k-b-b-b..
line, that you rout both, kick and bass into one group channel, and compress them together.
fool around with tresh., at and rel. and after some practice, you'll notice that the two lines melt into one groove! but try to use a good comp., because it doesn't work equal with different types. |

Does anyone have some interesting suggestions on how to make a multy layered bass line or a bass line that drops on the beat? I tried dropping things on the beat but when I do that I loss lots of power and definition .I know a lot of it has to do with the EQ but I’m not sure how to approach it . |

first two b=1/12 then third b=1/24 and four b=1/12
b=g#3
first two B=F#3
last B=A3
I forgot velocity
25%-50%-75%-50%
for this I use FL Studio and VB-1 with comp. eq. |
