It's a tough one... Well, through my monitors you can hardly hear your bass (compared to your kick), but you can certainly 'feel' it which is in my opinion, also as important. I will very interested to see how you achieved it, if you are willing to share...

Its a deep kick, and i have shorten it very hard (to the start of the bass)solo the kick sounds like shit, but with the deep bass in d it sounds good. at the moment i have only headphones,so my mix is shit.
the bass is the sampled esm in kontakt which i posted at music production forum.

Its working but you need to get the click away or mask it with something... i would go for EQ it out..
also i would lower the kick in volume a tad bit or Eq it in the highmid some more.. but just a little..
so man make a wicked track out of this.. work work work..
then after half the track make it fullon
