you can also copy the vb1 dll file from Steinberg to logic vst plugins folder

try to xpirement wit da esp in logic..u can get massive basses out of it.vb1 is not that good to me,its too plastic!
and as psypox said any synth can make bass..as long as u can tune oscillators.  Switch Off Power Schemes... |

i heard that logic's ESM is killer for basslines (i only use Cubase). if you don't like it i recomend:
- VB1: i don't like it but many people use it.
- ppd tritium: my favourite.
- tau2: very good one too.
these are synths made for bass. you can make a bassline with any another synth but it can be harder. |

ESM is awesome for bassline just needs some seriouos work. Here`s a tip mubali gave me and realy worked.
"The key to using the ES-M is working with the decay on both the filter and on the volume. Try turning down the volume decay till you hear the bassline get really really choppy, then slowly turn it up till you can hear the bassnotes individually. Then from there, turn up the intensity on the filter a little bit, and adjust the decay on the filter till you get the desired result. Also consider playing with the velocity of the notes and the note length too... " |
