I mostly use V-Station and z3ta+.
So tweak it a bit, learn from the presets, draw some notes.
Basic basslines
k=kick
b=bass
-=free
k-b-k-b-k-b-k-b-
k-bbk-bbk-bbk-bbk
kbbbkbbbkbbbkbbb
play with the notes and velocity, and link for example the filter cutoff to the velocity
then maybe add a bit delay, synced to 2/4/8 beats

been using Z3ta+ for basslines too. Now just got V-station. Any recommendations on using it for Bassline? Are you using all 3 oscillators? And what type of settings work well. Bass1 patch seems closest to what Im looking for but lacks a LOT of punch compared to Z3ta+ basslines Ive made. |

from what every "pro" tells me, 1 oscillator is preferable then more.

Hi , i know this is my first post and i think its gong to be innnto the sYstem.
The answer is: VB-1 .
Why?-1.Couze its simple as its gets.
2.couze it have solid bass sound.
Finally3.couze one of the pros, in full on sound,
told : "Dont change your VB-1 ,until Vb-2 is coming out"
Yes and for shure ,try to cook it (eq.comp,bass enhance,other as you wish)and you will get your 3dvision sound with faster 16th with pause notes and Van Dyk sound with 8th or 16th as you wish.
Thanks for attention and i think you step on the right land in near future!. |
