well did not imagine how can i use the grade of the key to create chords progression, but i would like to disscuse is how can i use the scale to get the most usual way to match the grades of the scale .. ( in this example for the C Mayor)....
i heard that sounds better harmonically speaking one acotave up and down, and disharmonically speaking it's the second grade of the scale. i use mora the 5o 6o 7o 8o 9o 11o grades of the scale and sounds great to me, but i would like to disscuse which ones are the points that I have to take into account when i make a bass line:::: |

at fullon there is consideration of harmonic progression most of the time. at dark there is not almost. to express chord progression at your track just let the bassline play the chord progression. if your scale is A minor and you want to play 1-4-5-1, so play 2 bars A,2 bars D, 2 bars E, 2 bars A, and you will hear the harmonic progression at your track. consider that almost all the psy tracks are at minor scales and not major, so you want your progression to be from minor scale. when you change your bassline, change also all the effects and leads to play with it on the note. about leads you have 2 options to do it. first if you have a phrase that play with the bassline, just transpose all the phrase with correlation to changes of the bassline. but this is not the "musical" way to do it, although it can work at psytracne. the second option is to realy compose a melody that harmonic to the bassline all the time, which means you can play only notes from the scale you played.
about your question. as i see it, what do the job of chords at psytrance is the bassline. if you don't change the key of it, you should make the others sounds mostly play the same note as the bassline, but not always. any change should be on the scale of the bassline.
when you change your bassline you have to consider harmonics. you can't play the same leads and effects, you have to adjust them to the new bassline.
about the movie. personally i know what she taught but it's great for people without knowledge of harmonics and chord progression.
i won't take her formula about chord progression too seriously. it's work, but it's not definite truth, if you obey it you can never do the realy interesting chords progression's.

Keep in mind also that if you have (in this example) a bassline and a lead, and either the bassline or the lead is nothing but C, you can change the progression in the other using any other key/scale which also contains C and it will be correct. You can do this using any note as your base key... I just used C as an example.
