i am still convinced that for low freq (good bass tone/kick tone/good bass kick interaction) monitors necessary tho. --

i m not sure but for me the low end is the hardest thing to get right when treating a room.always there i got some problems ... i find headphone can help or even give great result and can be easier to learn as you dont have big null and release/reverb is fast. while in a room the bass release/reverb can be long ,just this can be a pain for optimal bassline note lenght. in some rooms it already hapened i make the kbbb bass notes 20 or 30 tic shorter and still have no clue if it s better or worst lol
i could be wrong but i think i have read from a interview Skrillex never used monitors and he never went in a studio or dont have one (at that time , maybe now it s not the same )
soon more and more guys with just a latptop and a pair of headphone will rule electronic music...they are probably a lot already , it s natural for some of the young generation that listen on headphone since always |

yeah you probably got that right. i guess the real solution is to take the monitors outside. i remember you saying that in some post a few months ago. havent done it, but i believe it would sound awesome

Very bad tip , Actually 99% of those artists who using headphones are not doing it from any reasons to get an better sound (Only because of the neighbors) , But if you are realy pro And/So you have an good acoustics inside your studio So you dont need all that And/So this is realy unnecessary And you will never get an real answer/Product as you can get with a monitors (With any kind of headphones On any kind of part/Work) .
