hey guys, i ve been trying to create a bass line with a glide fx...
i know that i could do that with tau, but i just don t like the sound im getting from it...
also been trying to glide with cronox, but it s a lil harder to configure gliding in it...
so, any help? any tips? im already overlaping notes.. usually 1 oct up....
one more question, is there any plug in out there that could simulate this fx? making it possible to glide a vb-1 bass line iex |

why not do a manual pitch edit on the audiofile? or record your synth screwing the semitone/tune knob. |

yep!
try looking somewhere else than screwing with your bass audio recordings. Try at the source! record/program the pitch shift directly from your bass synth.

In a synth with a mod matrix you could set the filter envelope key follow to a high value then link the detune knob to the filter envelope.
i guess zeta would be good for this could you could define a dedicated envelope for it and then it wouldnt inerfere with the filter itself.

Pitch shifting works niiiiice. you can hear it in so many void, deedrah, psycraft, psysex etc tracks.
I wish trilogy worked .. an hour of installation and all it did was shut my computer down, not cool. |

yeah, thats the fuckup about a software that comes in 99 cds. Try Gliding with the MIDI Pitch Parameter, its not as accurate as a Legato effect from a synth, but it worked fine for me many many times using vb-1.
