BASS and PITCH changing sounds

Hi Guys,
I´m working with PsyTrance production, and I have released my first song 2 weeks ago (check http://www.eletronz.com )...
But my songs lacks of something: very good bass sounding, fat and not muddy - Check some examples below, and an kind of sound (wich I like very much) with pitch changing. I should use an GLIDE function? - check example too...
I want some tips on how to do these sounds... Try to be specific about what should I use (wich VSTs? Wich synths? Samples? Etc...)
I´m no experencied synth program so I just change some patches trying to get what I want..
I´m working with Nord Lead 3, but no bass patch give me that SUB6 bass sound...
If you have any patch for Nord Lead 3, or any patch for any VST that can help me, share with us in this forum...
Then here it goes:
1) Very good fat bass (SUB6 - 7th Son):

I´ve used TAU MK2 for my bass, but it isn´t good yet...Maybe I didn´t put "THE RIGHT" effect? I´ll try Albino and Junglist too to see what I will get....
I don´t want to COPY other people sounds, but I want to get an especific sound with are very close to these basses and pitch changing sounds...

if ure using tau to get the cpu and sub6 example, i think you're on the right way to get there... the global djs examples seem to be a sound perfectly well achieved with tau too, i can't see why not!
the freqawak example is definatelly for discovery, download sd.6 soundbank and i think you'll even find this patch there... something close to a saw to hpass sweep, no? |

in my bank there is a bass line preset wich it's really good bass sound...
with some EQ you can fill it even more.
ahhhhhhh and it's: S.D6 not SD.6....

I´ve checked and the bass patches are nice, but they aren´t what I´m looking for yet..
But I will recreated your patches on my Nord Lead 3 (since the new discovery is like an NL3) and then I will send you an PM so you can redistribute it on a Nord Lead 3 soundset...

humm, my ear says that cpu bassline is ppd trium but i'm not pro...i can't say that is correct

Use one or two osc.
pitch down them so in the middle of your midi synth you will listen some fart noise.
Boost middle range eq (i like 800Hz ->+16 db )
Play changing the osc's waveforms-filter and distortion.
Fast attack decay settings and
i believe its gonna work somehow;)
As about the glides..virus c i am using has a portamento (glide)function that modulates like that on legato playing.

Unfortunally ES-M is for MAC/Logic and I'm using PC/CUBASE...

Oh sorry i thought you are using nord lead..
Come on,get serius and start tweaking your synth.
If you were using logic as main seq ES-M could b used just for midi notation..
It reminds me some elder posts about "i sold all my hardware to buy vst"..hehe |

The problem with my nord lead is my midi card... I have to buy one better, because the lag on 1/64 is noted, so if you want a full-on bass then use a good sound card, or use vst (no lag)

Yes, a good and big multi-sampled ES-M library will be very nice!
